How to build a post-dated cheque schedule

A post-dated cheque schedule lists every cheque in a recurring payment plan — its date, amount and cheque number. Businesses across the UAE and GCC use them for rent, auto finance and equipment instalments, and staged supplier payments.

  1. Enter the amount of each cheque and the currency.
  2. Pick the date of the first cheque.
  3. Choose the frequency — monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly — and the number of cheques.
  4. Optionally add your starting cheque number to match your cheque book.
  5. Copy the schedule into your records.

Frequently asked questions

What is a PDC schedule?

A PDC (post-dated cheque) schedule is the list of cheques you issue for a recurring payment — each with its own date, amount and cheque number. It is used for rent, loan and instalment payments, and for supplier payment plans across the UAE and GCC.

How do I calculate post-dated cheque dates?

Take the first cheque date and add the payment interval repeatedly — one month for monthly, three for quarterly, six for half-yearly and twelve for yearly. This generator does that automatically, and adjusts for months with fewer days so a 31st always falls on a valid date.

How many post-dated cheques can I issue?

It depends on your agreement — rent is typically 1 to 12 cheques, while finance and instalment plans can run much longer. This tool generates up to 120 cheques, the same limit as recurring cheque generation in EasyCheck.

Can I include cheque numbers in the schedule?

Yes. Enter your starting cheque number and the generator numbers every cheque in sequence, keeping any leading zeros — so the schedule matches your actual cheque book.

Can I print all these cheques at once?

Yes. EasyCheck generates a recurring series of up to 120 post-dated cheques, previews every date and cheque number before printing, and prints them onto your own bank cheques for any UAE or GCC bank.
